Dividends

FinPal tracks two things about your dividends: what you’ve actually received, and what you’re on track to receive going forward.

Every dividend transaction — whether imported from a statement or added by hand — shows up in your dividend history, with the date, amount, and which holding it came from.

Based on your current holdings and their known dividend schedules, FinPal projects what you’re likely to earn going forward. This is a projection, not a guarantee — companies can change or cut dividends at any time — but it gives you a trend to watch rather than just a list of past payments.

Add it as a transaction of type “dividend” against the relevant holding, with the amount and date. See Portfolios & Transactions.
